PhotoMop: Photo Cleaner · Effective October 11, 2026

TL;DR — We collect nothing. Your photos never leave your device.

1. What PhotoMop does

PhotoMop analyzes your photo library on your device to help you find screenshots, blurry photos, burst duplicates, and other clutter, so you can review and delete them yourself.

2. Data we collect

None. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no accounts.

3. Photo library access

The app requests access to your photo library solely to scan and classify photos on-device. Photo content, metadata, and analysis results are never uploaded to any server and never leave your device.

4. On-device AI model download (optional)

You may optionally download an AI model file (EmbeddingGemma 2, ~388 MB) inside the app to enable semantic photo clustering and AI detection categories. This download fetches a publicly available model file from Hugging Face. The request sends no information about you or your photos — it is a one-way file download. The app works fully without it.

5. Local storage

Scan results (sharpness scores, classifications, cluster assignments) are stored only in a local database on your device. Deleting the app removes this data. Nothing is synced to the cloud or any account.

6. Deleting photos

Deletions are always confirmed by you and performed through the system photo library delete API. Deleted photos first go to your system's "Recently Deleted" album and remain recoverable according to iOS defaults (typically 30 days).

7. Third-party services

8. Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
